ABOUT
Details
I am Indigenous, a member of the Mohawk nation, of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. I have always possessed an inherent respect and deep appreciation for nature and the world around us.

In December 2017, a medical incident changed the course of my life, presenting new daily challenges and a different outlook on everything around me. During these past years of recovery, isolation and reflection, I have worked hard to begin life again. Following the incident, I was not able to return to my previous work. I had always been a hobby photographer so I picked up my camera and started on my journey in photography.
With kind support from the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts, I have been able to take photography training and workshops over these past years.

While always respectful of the wonders of nature, I have developed an even greater appreciation for all aspects of life and the world around me. I am grateful for all that I have experienced, and I look forward to the remaining days ahead.
The original thought for this site focused entirely on images of landscapes and nature, but my subject matter has evolved and now includes urban scenes, industrial structures, and images of humankind. The page entitled, "Reserved", is a collection of photographs from our Indigenous lands and communities. The images present our cultural aspects as well as evidence of the acceptance and adoption of changes introduced by European influence.

Included with most images are meaningful quotes from well-known historical figures and personalities.
"In solitude the mind gains strength and learns to lean upon itself."
- Laurence Sterne
